According to research by the DIRC, even Chinese consumers prefer American made products and are willing to pay more for them. This may comes as a surprise, given China’s perceived dominance in the manufacturing sector.
3) Plastics create jobs
The plastics industry employs nearly 1 million people in the United States. If you also include plastics suppliers, that number jumps to almost 1.4 million jobs.
