The focus of this position is to ensure parts being sent to quality are thoroughly checked for defects and only good quality parts are put in stock.

• Ensure correct work instructions are available and have been reviewed by production personnel for each product in production.
• Inspect products for defects as noted in work instructions and notify supervisor of any other observed quality concerns.
• Ensure product is packaged at correct quantity in the correct box on the correct pallet.
• Perform detailed sampling of each product in production every hour and log status for current and previous hour’s details
• Use log book to document any detected defects.
• Effectively communicate with other inspectors and senior production personnel regarding any known or possible quality concerns.

The focus of this position is to operate and tend to injection molding machines that produce plastic parts which require manual inspection and/or packing.

• Use all personal protective equipment provided and follow established safety rules and guidelines.  Alert supervisor of any safety concerns.
• De-gate and trim parts as needed.  Inspect for any surface defects of flaws.
• Follow documented work instructions for each product line.
• Assist in training of new employees.

The focus of this position is to assist and perform mold changeovers and maintenance as required.

• Safely use all provided tools and equipment to change over injection molding production lines from one product to another.
• Track mold changeover times and continually strive to improve the process to shorten time and improve safety.
• Ensure mold and related equipment is ready for full production when scheduled by production department.
• Ensure all periodic maintenance tasks have been completed on molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.

The focus of this position is to handle all incoming and outgoing orders and materials.

• Safely use a forklift or pallet jack for Loading / Unloading truck shipments or receipts.
• Pulling correct products from inventory based upon daily orders.
• Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies.
• Record receipt of all incoming packages and deliver to correct recipient in the building.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and shipping area.

The focus of this position is to set up, program and adjust injection molding machines for production. 

• Use all personal protective equipment provided and follow established safety rules and guidelines.  Alert supervisor of any safety concerns.
• Setup, troubleshoot, and operate all machines for production.
• Effectively communicate with Quality department regarding any production outside of tolerances or trending toward defects.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with mold maintenance personnel any concerns or suggested improvements with the tooling.
• Document any changes made to processing parameters and communicate with other shifts detailed status report at the conclusion of your shift.
